Cindy Williams

Cynthia Jane Cindy Williams is an American actress known for starring as Shirley Feeney in the television situationcomedy Laverne amp Shirley and for her role as Laurie Henderson in the classic film American Graffiti.

Williams was born in Van Nuys, Los Angeles, California, to Francesca and Beachard Williams. She has one sibling, a sister, Carol Ann. She graduated from Birmingham High School in 1965. Her classmates included financier Michael Milken, actress Sally Field and talent agent Michael Ovitz. She attended Los Angeles City College.
